Animation: A science capital approach to building science engagement

See our Enterprising Science project video animation on the science capital approach to understanding science engagement.

This animation shows how engagement with science can be understood through an analogy of a burning candle, where the flame represents someone’s engagement with science. It highlights and draws attention to the importance of the surrounding conditions and environment which enables or inhibits the flame (engagement) to be lit and burn brightly.
